Ravens Center Jeremy Zuttah Wouldn't Get Married Without His Pit Bull

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Ravens Jeremy Zuttah may be the center on the field, but his dog Ace was surely at the center of attention on Zuttah's wedding day.

Jeremy Zuttah and now wife Heran Haile has once considered getting married at City Hall, but when the two found out their pit bull wouldn't be allowed to be a witness in that venue, they altered their plans.

Ace came into the picture while Zuttah and Haile were both students at Rutgers almost eight years ago.

The couple prides themselves on being strong advocates for pet adoption, and for animals to be spayed and neutered. They're big time Pit advocates now, too — Jeremy spends his off-time on Facebook telling folks to "adopt not shop, bro," and Heran dreams of devoting herself to rescue.
