Rabid Bat Found In Glen Burnie Apartment Complex
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Health officials say a rabid bat has been found in an apartment complex in Glen Burnie.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health said Tuesday that the bat was found Friday and had been seen in the complex's laundry room and a stairwell.
Officials anyone who knows of someone who came in contact with the rodent, including children, should contact the health department. Anyone whose pet came in contact with the bat should call animal control.
