Quint Kessenich Maryland Losing In The NCAA Lax Championship

Sportscaster for ESPN Quint Kessenich joined Ed and Steve to talk about UNC beating Maryland in the Men's Lacrosse National Championship in overtime.

The NCAA Championship featured North Carolina's Tar Heels winning 14-13 in overtime over the Maryland Terrapins, but Quint Kessenich said, "this game was probably the most exciting of the twenty-two that I've done."

The Terps have lost in the championship game in back-to-back years and four times in the past six seasons.  Despite 13 overall appearances in the NCAA final, Maryland owns only two championships.

It doesn't feel too great to be the team that is "always getting there but not quite winning," said Norris. Kessenich agreed, but said the silver lining to that is,"the good news is that Maryland has a great program. This program is going to be on the map for a long time as long as John Tillman is there. He continues to bring in great players, that continue to be well coached. They are a hard-nosed bunch and they give it their all."
