Queen Anne's Co. Man Shot in Church Parking Lot

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A 22-year-old man from Church Hill was shot while sitting in his car in a church parking lot early Saturday morning, according to the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office.

The victim arrived to the Queen Anne's Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to the arm and shortly after 2:30 a.m., the Sheriff's Office were contacted and informed that the man was sitting in the car in the parking lot across from the Grasonville Community Center where a party was letting out and an unknown person fired several shots striking the victim.

When officers arrived to the center everyone had left.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital and his name is being withheld as the investigation continues.
