Protective Order Against Ravens Security Chief Dismissed

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The protective order placed against the head of Ravens security has been dismissed.

A woman had accused Darren Sanders of touching her inappropriately at the Ravens game at M&T Bank Stadium when they played Jacksonville, WJZ learned.

The alleged victim, a female employee, says while she was directing the head of security to an elevator, he began hitting on her and then touching her inappropriately.

That's when an employee filed a complaint with Baltimore City police alleging while she escorted Sanders in part of the building, he "groped her buttocks more than once," he "pressed his body against her's" even "kissed her neck" and then "attempted to force her to grab" his privates.

The 48-year-old former Baltimore City police officer has been charged with a fourth-degree sex offense.

Per NFL policy, Sanders is now on paid administrative leave with the NFL. His attorney tells WJZ, Sanders categorically denies the allegations and looks forward to his day in court.

A court date for the sex offense charge is set for Feb. 9.
