Police Warn Of Man Posing As Water Company Worker

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police are warning residents of a man who posed as an employee of a water company and then burglarized a home.

Police were called Friday morning to the 200 block of Hammonds Ferry Road in Linthicum. Police say when they arrived, a woman reported that a man had come to her home and claimed to be investigating a leak for a local water company. The woman said the man checked several areas in the home and then left. The woman told police she then realized some items were missing from the home.

Police say this is the second incident in the last week with similar circumstances and suspect information. Police say their suspect is a Hispanic male who wore a blue hat, blue shirt and tan pants.
