Police: Vandals Cause Damage To School In 'Senior Prank'

PASADENA, Md. (AP) -- Roughly 12 hours after Chesapeake High School's senior class graduated, Anne Arundel County Police say vandals returned to the Pasadena school and caused significant property damage.

The Capital reports that investigators are now searching for four people who appeared on security camera footage from Tuesday night, spray-painting graffiti, jamming up locks and causing other damage.

Police spokesman Lt. Glenn Shanahan says police believe it was a senior prank. Schools spokesman Bob Mosier says the vandalism caused $2,000 in damages.

Police say the suspects, wearing what appear to be masks or face paint, arrived at the school that night. Police say three of them appear to be male and a fourth appears to be female.

Mosier says the vandalism was still visible Wednesday morning, but did not affect school activities.
