Police: Two Men Killed in Pair of Overnight Shootings

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Two men were killed and a woman was injured in a pair of shootings that played out just minutes apart in Baltimore early Tuesday, according to police.

Patrol officers were called to a shooting reported in the 300 block of Herring Court about 12:39 a.m., police said. That's where they found a crowd surrounding a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the head and chest. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

About 15 minutes later, officers responding to a shooting reported in the 600 block of Laurens Street found a 28-year-old man shot multiple times in the upper body and a 26-year-old woman shot in the foot. Both were taken to the hospital, where the man died.
