Police: Two Men Arrested In Elkridge Drug Raid

ELKRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) -- Authorities have arrested two men after seizing heroin, crack cocaine and paraphernalia during a drug raid targeting a Howard County home Wednesday.

The arrests capped a two-month investigation that was launched after police received a tip about suspected drug sales in the Elkridge community, according to Howard County police.

Clement Howell, 33, and Rodney Lamont Burnett, 35, were booked into the Howard County Detention Center on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Howell's Washington Boulevard home Wednesday afternoon where they confiscated heroin and crack along with cocaine scales, plastic bags and glass vials that they say suggested the drugs were being packaged for distribution.

Both men have been released from custody on $30,000 bond.
