Police: Two Charged With Murder In Frederick Man's Stabbing

FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) -- Authorities have arrested two people on murder charges in connection to the fatal stabbing of a 36-year-old man outside a downtown Frederick bar Monday, police said.

Tierra Nicole Lucas, 29, and Alexis Adria Lucas, 23, both of Heather Ridge Drive, are charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault in the death of Brian Mario Graves, according to the Frederick Police Department.

An argument between Graves and Alexis Lucas turned violent inside the Olde Towne Tavern on North Market Street about 1:30 a.m. that morning when a fight broke out, police said.

Police said that fight spilled outside when both suspects confronted Graves and escalated when, at some point, he was stabbed in the upper body. The suspects left the scene before police arrived.

Graves was rushed to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore where later died of his injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding Graves' death is ongoing.
