Police: Teen Wounded In AACo. Drive-By Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A drive-by shooting Wednesday in Anne Arundel County that sent a 15-year-old boy to the hospital is under investigation.

The teen was walking with friends on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Edgevale Road West before 3:30 p.m. when a red vehicle drove past, according to police. Someone inside the vehicle opened fire at the group several times, striking the victim once in the upper left arm.

The vehicle was last seen heading towards Belle Grove Road, witnesses told investigators. They could not provide any further distinguishing details about the vehicle or the suspects involved.

The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital, but is expected to recover, according to police.
