Police: Teen, 17, Charged After Snatching 18-Year-Old's Scooter, Shooting Him

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged as an adult with first degree attempted murder after police say he stole an 18-year-old's scooter and shot him.

The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Fleetwood Avenue on April 15. Police detectives say they were able to identify two suspects via surveillance cameras and witnesses.

On Wednesday, officers arrested 17-year-old Ravanna Cornish, of the 6200 block of Tremont Street, who is also charged with first and second degree assault and armed robbery.

A second suspect in the robbery and shooting remains at large.
