Police: Suspect Sought In Deadly Double Shooting
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 33-year-old man died and a second man was hospitalized in serious condition after authorities say they were shot by someone in Southeast Baltimore Thursday night.
Officers responding to a shooting reported in the 1700 block of Manor Avenue about 10:45 p.m. found Lionel Hill, 33, of Strawflower Road, with multiple gunshot wounds and a second victim, identified only as a 28-year-old man, shot in the stomach, according to police.
Investigators suspect the men were walking along Manor Avenue when someone confronted them, pulled out a gun and shot Hill several times. The suspect shot the second victim as they struggled over the gun and then took off, according to police.
Hill was rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he died of his injuries. The second victim was taken to the hospital where, at last check, he was listed in serious but stable condition.
