Police Seek Witnesses In Interstate 95 Fatality

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police are looking for witnesses who may have seen a refrigerator box truck hit and kill a 26-year-old man on Interstate 95 in Prince George's County.

Police say 26-year-old Benjamin Stanley of Laurel was killed around noon Wednesday in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Laurel. It's unclear why Stanley was on foot on the interstate.

Police say the driver of the truck that hit Stanley remained at the scene and has not been charged.

Police say they need the public's help for their investigation. They ask anyone who may have seen Stanley's death to call them at 410-761-5130.
