Police Seek Suspect In Hanover 7-Eleven Robbery

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police are searching for a masked man they say robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in Hanover.

Police say a man wearing a ski mask entered the store just after 4 a.m. on Sunday, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The two clerks behind the counter complied with the man's request. Police say the suspect fled the store on foot after shoving the money into his pockets.

Police say officers and the department's K-9 unit searched the area but no arrests have been made.

Police say the man is roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, tan pants and tan hiking shoes.
