Police Seek Help ID'ing Teen's Remains Found Near State Park

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police are asking for help identifying the remains of a juvenile, which were found in a wooded area near Cunningham Falls State Park in May.

A forensic anthropologist estimates that the boy was between 16 and 19 years old, and stood approximately 5-foot-6.

It is estimated that he had been dead one to two years prior to his remains being found.

A mandible was not recovered, but a forensic artist drew what the boy may have looked like when he was alive based on the available remains of the skull.

A facial reconstruction image is below.
