Police Searching For Suspect In Fatal W. Lexington St Shooting

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Baltimore City Police were on the scene of a shooting in the 800 block of W. Lexington Street after police got the call shortly before 3:57 p.m.

The shooting is now a homicide, police said.

Police responded to the back alley of the area where they found a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

A medic was summoned and took the victim to an area hospital, where he died shortly after arriving.

Police are currently searching for the suspect.

Homicide detectives responded to the location and assumed control of the investigation.
