Police Searching For Rape Suspect In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—City police are asking for the public's help in identifying a wanted rape suspect.

The incident happened on Wednesday night near the 100 block of W. LaFayette Ave.

Detectives responded around 9:00 p.m. for a reported rape on Bolton Street.

According to police, the victim reports running in the 100 block of W. Fayette Ave. when she was grabbed and forced into a parked car. The victim says the suspect was armed with a handgun.

Police say the vehicle was driven for a short time until the suspect raped the victim.

The suspect is described as a black male, late 20's to early 30's, 5' 9" – 5'11", with a muscular build. The vehicle is described as a green on tan Hyundai with malfunction brake or taillights.
