Police Now Searching For Gold Denali In Essex Hit-And-Run

ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) -- New info in the hit-and-run crash that left a five-year-old boy critically injured.

Investigators now believe the suspect vehicle is a gold 1999 to 2000 GMC Yukon Denali (similar to the one pictured above).

The vehicle should have damage to the right front grill and right front headlight area.

The five-year-old victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say the boy was crossing South Maryln Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
