Police Say They Are Investigating Threat at Six Flags America

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Police say they are investigating a "phoned-in threat" to Six Flags America that led to the amusement park being closed.

Prince George's County Police say a call was received around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. They did not provide details of the threat.

A spokeswoman for the park said it was cleared "out of an abundance of caution."

Police said they were investigating who make the call and its validity.
