Police Raid Baltimore's 'Block' In Trafficking Investigation

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Local and federal law enforcement agents raided three clubs on The Block, Baltimore's famous downtown red-light strip, as part of a human trafficking investigation.

Shayne Buchwald, a spokeswoman for the Baltimore division of the FBI, said the Diamond Lounge, Chez Joey and Lust were among the establishments raided on Thursday. The raid was part of an investigation into human trafficking, and was a joint operation involving the FBI, the Baltimore City Police Department and the state's attorney's office.

Police did not say Friday how many people were arrested during the raid.
