Police: Prisoner Escapes From Police Station, Recaptured

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a prisoner who escaped from an interview room at Baltimore County police headquarters in Towson has been located.

The Baltimore Sun reports the woman, who was not identified, slipped out of the police station on Thursday afternoon.

Police say she made her way to a nearby street before she was recaptured an hour later.

Authorities say the woman was not a risk to the public. Police did not reveal what crime she had been charged with.

No additional details were released.
