Suspect Driving Stolen Car Arrested After Crashing In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County police say they were not pursuing a stolen vehicle when it crashed on Route 1 late Wednesday afternoon.

Sky Eye Chopper 13 was over the scene.

Police say the suspect was driving erratically and at a high rate of speed when it struck three vehicles.

A Howard County police officer saw the suspect jump out and take off and chased down and arrested him.

Three people suffered minor injuries in the incident.
