Police Corporal Rescues Dog From Burning Home In Pasadena

PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- A police corporal rescues a dog from a burning home in Anne Arundel County.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 7700 block of Queens Park Road in Pasadena.

The officer was first on the scene of a house fire.

The homeowner had already made it out. Her dog was still inside.

Using his flashlight to navigate through the smoke, the officer entered the home and found the dog in a bedroom.

He was able to wrap the dog in a blanket and get him to safety.
