Police: Man Robs Rehoboth Beach Bank; No Weapon Shown

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) -- State police say a man robbed a bank in Rehoboth Beach after handing a teller a note and implying he was armed.

The robbery occurred shortly before noon on Saturday at the Capital One Bank branch on Old Landing Road. Police say the man implied that he was armed but never displayed a weapon. The teller handed over some cash and the man fled.

No one was injured. Police say the man was wearing a hat and sunglasses during the robbery, and no video surveillance footage is available.
