Police: Man Pointed Gun At Clerk In 7-Eleven Robbery

EDGEWOOD, Md. (WJZ)— Police in Edgewood are looking for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint.

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. Monday at the 7-Eleven located at 1020 Gateway Road.

A 36-year-old store clerk told police a man entered the convenience store, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money and cigarettes.

She described the suspect as 5'5", 180 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a hooded grey sweatshirt and a bandana.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store.

There were no injuries reported.
