Police: Man Hit By Car After Argument, Seriously Injured

KENSINGTON, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car after an argument.

The incident happened at Mitchell Street and Armory Drive in Kensington on Sunday night.

Police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks say two men in their 20s were at the intersection in their cars, when one man got out and was hit by the other man's car. Police say the men knew each other and had argued earlier.

The man who was hit by the car had injuries that police called serious, but not life-threatening.

Police say the driver of the car that hit the man left the scene, but he later turned himself in.
