Police: Man Found Shot Outside Night Club Dies

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A man who witnesses say was shot amid an attempted robbery at an East Baltimore night club last week has died, authorities said.

Rondell Street, 27, of Biddison Lane, was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound following a reported shooting outside Ace Lounge about 4 a.m. April 1, according to police.

Police said Street, who had been listed in critical condition, died Wednesday.

Street was shot by an unidentified man who had tried to rob him inside the club, witnesses told investigators. The suspect fled before police arrived.

His murder marks the second homicide in April.
