Police: Man, 87, Bites Attacker Outside Cockeysville Home

COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say an 87-year-old man fought off an attacker by biting him at his home in Cockeysville.

Police say in a news release an unknown man went to the older man's home on Dec. 14 saying something was wrong with his well and that it needed to be checked. When the 87-year-old man said nothing was wrong with his well, the suspect pulled him to the ground.

The older man then bit the suspect's hand, and his wife came and punched the suspect in the head. The victim sustained minor injuries. The suspect fled.

Police are now seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect. He's described as white, standing 5-feet 10-inches and weighing 160 pounds. He was seen wearing a gray beanie and black shirt and pants. He may be driving a light colored SUV.
