Police: Man, 21, Hospitalized After South Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 21-year-old man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the abdomen Tuesday night was shot in South Baltimore, according to police.

Patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting near where Annabelle Avenue and 5th Street meet before 9 p.m., but authorities say they found no suspects or anyone wounded nearby.

Officers were called to a local hospital moments later where the victim was being treated for a gunshot wound to the side.

While detectives could not glean any details from the victim, who was uncooperative, they later located a crime scene a block away from the original report.
