Baltimore Police Make Arrest In Shooting During Dirt Bike Sale

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Authorities say they've made an arrest in the shooting of a Carroll County man who went to Baltimore to sell a dirt bike in August.

Police announced Wednesday that they arrested 21-year-old Khoutney Woodard on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree attempted murder.

Police say officers responding to a report of a shooting on Aug. 3 found the 27-year-old Sykesville man with a gunshot wound to the forehead. Police say the man posted a dirt bike for sale on Craigslist and went to Baltimore to complete the sale. Police say someone tried to rob the man and he was shot during a struggle.

The man was taken to a hospital where police say he was in stable condition. Police spokeswoman Detective Chakia Fennoy says the man is now in rehabilitation.
