Police Looking For Suspect In July Hit-And-Run

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police are still seeking a suspect in the hit-and-run accident that seriously injured a man nearly a month ago.

Officers responded to the accident at Eastern Boulevard on July 27 in Essex.

When they arrived on the scene, they found a 35-year-old man seriously injured. He was taken to Johns Hopkins hospital for treatment.

The initial investigation shows that the man was standing on a median strip on Eastern Boulevard east of Woodward Drive.

He stepped onto eastbound Eastern Boulevard and was hit by an eastbound vehicle, which immediately fled the scene.

According to surveillance video, the suspect's vehicle is a 4-door Jeep Wrangler.
