Police Investigating Sudden Death Of Towson Student

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—A Towson University student was found dead in her apartment on Friday afternoon, police said.

Authorities responded around 2:37 p.m. on Friday to the 300 block of Stevenson Lane.

Baltimore County police say they were alerted when the mother of the victim called Towson University police to check on the welfare of her daughter. At the scene, she was found lying on her bed.

Police identified the victim as 28-year-old Darcie Lena Moloshok.

The exact cause of death is pending an autopsy investigation.

Police say they believe heroin was found in the apartment.
