Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Temple Hills

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County are investigating a fatal shooting in Temple Hills, and police say the shooting may have stemmed from an attempted robbery.

Police say officers were called to the 4600 block of Dallas Place for a report of a shooting on Sunday around 11:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man outside suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, identified by police as 26-year-old Taurean Beard of Temple Hills, was pronounced dead on the scene. Two other people were hurt, but police say their injuries do not appear life-threatening.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in the case.
