1 Dead In Possible Stabbing In Rossville, Police Say

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating a man's death in the Rossville area early Thursday.

According to Baltimore County Police, officers responded to the unit block of Capella Court in Fontana Village around 6:32 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.

People told police they heard an altercation, and when they went outside, they saw a man with traumatic injuries to his body.

When officers arrived they found a man lying in the parking lot. He was taken to Franklin Square Hospital where he died.

"We received a call for a report of a stabbing around 6:30 this morning," Jen Peach, of the Baltimore County Police Department, said. "Our officers got out to the scene and they were able to locate the victim who was on the ground in the parking lot. He did have some sort of trauma to his body. Medics transported him to Franklin Square Hospital, and unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased there."

Police are still working to determine how the man died. There was no weapon on scene.

The investigation continues.

The man's body will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
