Police Investigating After Human Remains Discovered In Catonsville

CATONSVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—Authorities in Baltimore County are investigating the discovery of human remains in a wooded area on Thursday afternoon.

The discovery was made in the 800 block of S. Rolling Road on CCBC Catonsville's campus by surveyors.

Police confirm human remains were recovered in a wooded area along the street.

Detectives say they uncertain exactly how long the remains have been at the location. The body is not that of Timothy Getka, a man who remains missing from the Catonsville area.

The remains will be taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
