Police Investigate Glen Burnie Bank Robbery

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating a bank robbery at the 1st Mariner Bank on Crain Highway.

According to police, two suspects entered the bank shortly after 2 p.m. on Friday. One suspect hopped over the teller counter and told everyone to get on the floor. The other suspect acted as a lookout.

The suspects fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a newer model white vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a black man with a thin build, wearing a white crewneck t-shirt, white basketball-style shorts with three black stripes on both sides, a plain white baseball cap, white sneakers, white socks and a tan-colored nylon mask.

The second suspect is described as a black man with a stocky build, approximately 6'. He was wearing a white crewneck t-shirt, black basketball style shorts, a black baseball cap with a white emblem, white socks, white sneakers and a tan-colored nylon mask.
