Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Accident

BALTIMORE (WJZ) - Maryland State Police are investigating a deadly accident on the ramp between I-695 and I-70.

Emergency personnel responded to a 911 call in regards to a single vehicle collision involving a pedestrian around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

The initial investigation reveals the driver of a 2012 Toyota Highlander hit the pedestrian as he was trying to exit the inner loop.

So far, the victim's name has not been released.

The collision remains under investigation, any witnesses are asked to call Maryland State Police.
