Police Investigate Double Shooting In Bowleys Quarters

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. (WJZ) -- A double shooting is under investigation in the Bowleys Quarters neighborhood.

It happened just after 10 a.m. Monday at the Carroll Park Apartments in the 200 block of Carroll Island Road.

Baltimore County police say a 64-year-old man walked into the leasing office and shot two employees.

A 47-year-old woman was taken to Shock Trauma with critical injuries. A 39-year-old man was treated at the scene.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Investigators say at least one--possibly both--of the victims were targeted by the suspect.

Witnesses tell police the man is a former tenant who had been evicted several months ago.
