Police Identify Suspect Involved In Tuesday Fullerton Plaza Shooting

FULLERTON (WJZ) -- Police in Baltimore County filed attempted homicide charges against the man who investigators say pulled out a gun and shot a man at Fullerton Plaza Shopping Center on Tuesday.

According to detectives, Spenser Sumler, 23, got into an argument with an acquaintance, pulled out a gun and shot him.

Police were called to the scene in the 7900 block of Belair Road and found the victim bleeding. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators have yet to release the circumstances of the argument that sparked the gunfire.

Sumler has been charged with attempted-first degree murder, first degree assault and other related charges. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
