Police ID Mother and Daughter Killed in Fatal Bel Air Car Fire

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Bel Air Police have identified 47-year-old Stacy Rena Pell-Boulan and her 4-year-old daughter Caitlin Boulan as the victims of the fatal car fire after a collision near the Harford Mall on Saturday.

Police say witnesses saw the victim's Lincoln traveling from the Mall side of Boulton Street, when it entered the lane closest to the center median on the southbound side of MD-24. Witnesses say they saw the car strike the center median curb, once and then again, before entering the center median and striking a tree.

Police say there does not appear to be any other contributing factors to the collision.

According to our media partners at the Baltimore Sun, when first responders arrived to the scene, the vehicle was fully engulfed by fire and the two people were trapped inside.

Pell-Boulan's son, 16-year-old Michael Boulan did survive the accident.

Southbound MD-24 was blocked between Boulton Street and Baltimore Pike for a time after the incident.
