Police Identify Man Suspected In Carjacking, Crashing Into Ft. Meade Gate

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- City police identify the suspect arrested and charged with driving a stolen car into a gate at Fort Meade.

The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Dontae Small of Hagerstown.

Police says Small approached a driver who parked his car in South Baltimore and demanded his keys.

Small the drove to Anne Arundel County where he slammed into a gate at Fort Meade in attempt to elude officers.

he ran from the scene but was later found hiding in a wooded area.

In Baltimore City, Small is charged with armed robbery, assault and various gun-related charges. He could face additional charges in Anne Arundel County.
