Police Identify Man Killed In Waldorf Shooting

WALDORF, Md. (AP) -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who was shot and killed by two masked men who broke into a home he was visiting.

Deputies said in a news release Wednesday that 34-year-old Michael Keith Beers of Waldorf was vising the home of an acquaintance when he was fatally shot early Tuesday.

Investigators say Beers was targeted by the suspects and the crime was not random.
