Police ID Man Found Fatally Shot In Lanham

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- A 26-year-old man who was found fatally shot in a parking lot in Lanham is being identified.

Twenty-six-year-old Shayne Francis Snipes of Lanham was found suffering from gunshot wounds Friday evening in a parking lot in the 8600 block of Greenbelt Road. Prince George's County police say he was taken to a hospital where he died several hours later.

Police say it was likely not a random shooting.
