Police ID Body Found In Frederick Creek

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Police have identified the man whose body was found in a creek in a city park in Frederick.

Police on Saturday evening identified the man as 30-year-old William Michael Lee of Frederick. Police did not release his cause or manner of death but said an autopsy would be performed.

Police found Lee's body Saturday after being called to Monocacy Village Park after a person was reported floating in the creek.

The park is owned by the City of Frederick.

The Frederick Police Department says an investigation is ongoing. They're asking anyone with information to contact them at 301-600-6391.
