2 Killed In Canton Shooting Were Shock Trauma Nurses

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore city police have identified the two people killed in a double shooting in a popular Canton shopping center Wednesday.

According to police, 29-year-old Mark McKenna of Cockeysville and 26-year-old Reanna Lynn Greene of Canton were found shot inside an SUV in the parking lot of The Shops at Canton Crossing in the 3600 block of Boston Street around 12:21 p.m.

McKenna and Lynn were also identified as nurses from Shock Trauma according to a spokesperson there.

Shock Trauma expressed their deepest condolences following the loss of one of their own, "All of us here at the Shock Trauma face strong emotions each and every day taking care of critically ill and injured patients, but it is especially difficult to lose those we call our own."

Investigators believe McKenna shot Greene before turning the gun onto himself.

Reanna and Mark are remembered as exceptional nurses and well-respected by everyone at Shock Trauma.
