Police Find Noose Near Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum In D.C.

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Smithsonian police found a noose in the vicinity of the Hirshhorn Museum Friday in Washington D.C. while conducting a security check.

U.S. Park Police say shortly before 6 p.m. officers found a noose inside the dense canopy of a tree.

Officials couldn't confirm how long the noose was there.
