Police: Death Of Baltimore Woman Who Fell Ruled A Homicide

BALTIMORE (AP) — The death of a 58-year-old woman who hit her head during an argument with a man is now being investigated as a homicide.

Baltimore police say that Kathy Schultz was arguing with a man Jan. 12 at a southeast Baltimore intersection when she was pushed to the ground and cracked her skull.

Police say when officers arrived, Schultz was highly intoxicated. Witnesses told police she had taken a swing at the man and he pushed her down.

Schultz didn't show signs of injury but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Schultz died in March. An autopsy determined she died as a direct result of her head injury, and ruled her death a homicide.

Police say they have identified a suspect and an arrest warrant is pending.
