Police Charge Man With Killing Grandparents In Md.

KEEDYSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The Washington County sheriff's office says it has charged a young man with killing his grandparents at a home in Keedysville.

Deputies were called to the home Saturday evening and found two people had been stabbed to death. The victims are identified as 84-year-old Joseph Michael Minoglio and 78-year-old Peggy Minoglio, both of Keedysville.

Police in Montgomery County, Va., later located the victims' car being driven by their grandson, Joseph William Minoglio. He was arrested early Sunday morning.

Investigators have charged Joseph William Minoglio, 19, with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder, as well as attempted murder and assault charges. He is being held in Montgomery County, Va., awaiting extradition to Maryland.
