Police Believe Same Man Responsible For 3 Potomac Burglaries

POTOMAC, Md. (AP) -- Police believe the same man is responsible for three burglaries at businesses in Potomac.

Montgomery County police say a Sunoco gas station was broken into early Friday morning and early Saturday morning. The first time, police say the burglar tried to force open an ATM but left without taking anything of value. The second time, police say the burglar broke open the cash register and stole some cash.

Ten minutes after the second burglary, police say a man broke into a nearby deli and stole some cash from the register. The burglar again tried but failed to force open the ATM.

The man was captured on surveillance video, but his face was concealed.
